Building a Computer

When building a computer, there are a number of different pieces of hardware you will need. I first will list all required items.

- Computer Case

- Motherboard

- CPU & Fan

- Hard disk

- CD Drive

- RAM

Computer Case

It is quite easy to choose, just go to one you like the look and make sure there is enough space for your motherboard. They are usually always give the dimensions of the case and motherboard, so just make sure they fit.

The motherboard is probably the main part of the computer as it connects everything together and allows them to communicate. Everything plugs into the motherboard.

CPU Fan &

CPU or Central Processing Unit is the brain system, that is where all calculations are performed. One of the hottest computer components to the processor so that it requires its own fan.

hard drive

The hard drive is where your data is stored. Thus, a larger hard drive multiple documents, music, video, etc. you can have.

CD Drive

You do not really have a CD drive, but this is the easiest way to install the operating system. You can also install the operating system via a USB pen.

RAM

RAM or Random Access is a place where all the running programs are stored, so if you use a word processor like Microsoft Word, while it used to be run in RAM, so the more RAM you have you can run multiple programs without affecting system performance too much and slow down your computer.
